Arizona Coyotes sloppy in homecoming loss to Montreal Canadiens

In Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens at Gila River Arena, the Coyotes certainly looked like a team that had just come back from a four-game road trip with one day in between the end of the trip and the start of the current homestand.

The Coyotes were sloppy for much of the game. They sleep-walked through the first shift of the game and allowed a goal to Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher just 22 seconds into the first period.

The same happened to start the second period, although the Coyotes weren't entirely at fault for the goal that put them in an 0-2 hole.
