It’s crystal clear, from our view at the state Capitol, that Arizona cities have no shortage of challenges and priorities. Priorities that affect hundreds of thousands of residents despite limited funds.
A tax dollar-subsidized sports arena and embattled luxury housing aren’t among residents’ priorities, and they’re not an appropriate use of our limited resources.
As the three state senators representing Tempe, we encourage Tempe voters to vote no on all three ballot propositions in the upcoming special election, which runs April 19 through May 16.
