The management staff for the Coyotes' American Hockey League team in Tucson is taking shape with the organization naming Doug Soetaert general manager of the Roadrunners Wednesday after announcing a slew of hires earlier in the week.
"We are very pleased to add Doug as the General Manager of the Roadrunners," General Manager John Chayka said in a statement released by the team. "Doug has extensive experience as a general manager and is extremely knowledgeable. He is well-respected throughout the league and we are confident that he is an ideal fit for our team."
Soetaert spent last season as the Coyotes' western professional scout after working as the head scout for Red Bull Hockey in Europe for two seasons.
