Coyotes goalie Mike Smith has been named to the NHL All-Star Game.
Smith boasts a 2.83 goals-against average and .918 save percentage, which is tied for fifth-best clip among Western Conference goalies that have skated in 24 games. His .926 save percentage since he returned from core muscle surgery last season is sixth-best among all NHL players who have skated in 20 games. Overall, he's gone 7-11-5.
The 34-year-old has played the third-most games by a goalie in franchise history (281) and has the third-most shutouts (19). Smith's 116 wins also rank third.
This will be Smith's first appearance at the All-Star Game, which is Jan.
