Arizona sports fans could probably use some good mascot news after Sparky the Sun Devil was put through the wringer as one of the "creepiest" and "most-offensive" college mascots in a survey earlier this week.
Well, another survey gives them some.
The Arizona Coyotes' Howler the Coyote was recently voted the third-best NHL mascot according to a survey from Play Canada.
That's a lot better than being "creepy" or "offensive."
The survey asked more than 2,000 NHL fans from across Canada and the U.S. to rate all 30 NHL mascots on a scale from 1-5.
