Don Maloney appears to be out as General Manager of the Arizona Coyotes.
The Arizona Coyotes are expected to relieve General Manager Don Maloney of his duties later today, according to multiple reports. Maloney has been General Manager of the Arizona Coyotes since 2007.
Maloney was responsible for crafting three consecutive playoff teams from 2010-2012, including one that made the Western Conference Finals. Recently however, Maloney's tenure as GM encountered some missteps, including the short-lived signing of Mike Ribeiro and a misjudging of the strength of the team entering the 2014-15 season.
