Thursday night was a bit of a wild ride for Arizona Coyotes fans.
They watched their team build a 3-0 lead in St. Louis with 56 minutes of some of the best hockey the Coyotes have played this season. Tyler Pitlick, Nick Schmaltz and Conor Garland had Arizona in front, with Antti Raanta cruising toward his second win in net in his second start of the season.
Then the Blues rallied. They pulled their goaltender early and the gamble paid off with three goals in the final 3 minutes and 15 seconds of the game. If not for Christian Dvorak's empty-net goal sandwiched in between, the Coyotes might not have earned their first road victory of the season.
