The Arizona Coyotes continued the remake of their hockey operations department Friday with the addition of Ryan Jankowski as associate director of amateur scouting.
Jankowski, a Calgary native, joins special assistant to the general manager Brian Daccord and director of amateur scouting Darryl Plandowski as part of general manager Bill Armstrong's staff. Unlike Armstrong and Plandowski, Jankowski will be able to take part in the Coyotes' draft preparations leading up to the two days of the NHL Draft October 6 and 7.
Jankowski had been the Buffalo Sabres' director of amateur scouting the past two seasons, running the team's 2018 and 2019 drafts.
