It was no secret that the Coyotes' strength was their goaltending tandem. Between Darcy Kuemper and Antti Raanta, the Coyotes had a one-two punch in net that could rival any team in the NHL.
But what happens when you take that away? And not just one goaltender, but two?
The Coyotes are answering that very question right now.
Thus far, to the ire of Coyotes fans, the results have not been positive. Third-stringer Adin Hill played well in a 5-2 road win over the Florida Panthers, but he didn't have it against the red-hot Tampa Bay Lightning in a 4-0 loss.
