All of a sudden, maybe, just maybe, the Arizona Cardinals have run into a little luck when it comes to their schedule. Happenings around the league quarterback-wise may have something to do with that.
This week the Cardinals play the Carolina Panthers at home. Reports suggest Panthers quarterback Cam Newton may not play. He has yet to practice this week.
That would leave the backup to Kyle Allen, someone Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray should be familiar with from his Texas A&M days. Local high school football fans will know Allen from Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale.
