The Arizona Cardinals agreed to a trade to acquire offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a late sixth-round pick.
Although he has been one of the best pass-blocking right tackles in the NFL the past several years, he has also been one of the worst when it comes to staying healthy.
Since 2016, Gilbert has missed a total of 23 games due to injuries. If he can stay healthy, the Cardinals would have found their answer to their vacant right tackle position. But, he is 32 years old and has started all a full season only twice in his nine years in the NFL.
