Perhaps it is never too early to ask about position battles at training camp, so on the first day of training camp, Kliff Kingsbury was asked just that.
The Cardinals head coach noted a few spots he's watching: cornerback, linebacker and the defensive line. He says those are "some groups that we feel like talent-wise, made some solid upgrades there, and now we gotta go out on the field and show it."
When it was pointed out that Kingsbury seems, uncharacteristically, to be particularly watching the defense, he nodded his head, bobbed his whole body, and let up the slightest smile.
