Running back Kenyan Drake ready to carry the load despite 'daunting task'

Kenyan Drake arrived in Arizona around 4 p.m. on Monday, got a physical and then got to work. He had to move quickly, as he's got a lot on his plate.

The Cardinals traded for the fourth-year running back from Miami Monday, and now he's preparing to carry the load on Thursday against the 49ers.

David Johnson (ankle) and Chase Edmonds (hamstring) did not participate in practice Tuesday. Had Monday been a practice instead of a walk-through, they would not have practiced then, either. It seems unlikely they will play on Thursday, and Drake is preparing to start just in case.
