The report of Jason Babin working out with the Arizona Cardinals had something to it. It turn out there is a new injury that necessitated his signing. Arizona announced the signing of Babin, who will play outside linebacker for the team, as a replacement on the roster for starting outside linebacker Alex Okafor, who apparently suffered a toe injury.
Okafor was placed on the non-football injury (NFI) list with a toe injury. Okafor had two sacks during the season -- both in the season opener. He missed some time during the season with an injury and was playing well toward the end of the season.
