What a year it will be in the NFL. If we are able to have a season there are now quite a few rule changes to understand and know about, a couple or which seem like potential game changers.
The biggest rule change, at least in my opinion is that the league will now allow three players to be designated to return from the injured reserve.
While it is only a one player increase, it could serve potential playoff teams with a huge end of season roster move. We have not heard if the rules remain the same regarding the player being on the initial 53-man roster after the preseason, but assuming that it is, this could be a potentially game changing move.
