Marcus Cooper visits Cardinals as team searches for CB to pair with Patrick Peterson

The Cardinals annual search for a starting cornerback to pair with Patrick Peterson continued this week with a familiar face coming to town.

Marcus Cooper, who started for the 2016, visited this week, according to multiple reports.

Cooper signed a three-year contract with the Bears last year, but was released last week.

Former Bills cornerback E.J. Gaines also visited the Cardinals recently, but he is close to signing with the Browns, according to reports.

Robert McClain, who was with the Buccaneers last year, also has visited the Cardinals. He had two previous stints with Carolina when Cardinals coach Steve Wilks coached the secondary there.
