Larry Fitzgerald Given PFWA Good Guy Award

Larry Fitzgerald will add to his lengthy list of on-field accomplishments this season. He supplemented his impressive off-field resume on Tuesday.

The Cardinals’ star wide receiver was given the Pro Football Writers of America’s Good Guy Award, which highlights a player for “his qualities and professional style in helping pro football writers do their jobs.”

It is a league-wide honor, and Fitzgerald joins quarterback Kurt Warner (2008) as the Cardinals who have won the award since it was initially presented in 2005. They are the third set of teammates to win, following the Packers’ Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers as well as the Seahawks’ Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman.
