On Sunday, Cardinals’ head coach Jonathan Gannon sat down with NFL Network to give some positive updates on Kyler Murray’s rehab progress, along with some hints at the future of WR DeAndre Hopkins.]

Kyler Murray initially tore his ACL during a Week 14 matchup against the New England Patriots last season. The 25-year-old quarterback then underwent surgery for his injury in the first week of January.

As of how things stand right now, Murray is not expected to take the field in a regular season game until around the halfway point of this upcoming season.

Jonathan Gannon noted that Murray is on track and will begin hitting the weight room in the near future.
