It was already known that the Cardinals would be in for a tumultuous week with key players on both sides of the ball being ruled out with injury. However, on Friday, their opponents in the Jacksonville Jaguars, recently listed a handful of players as inactive for Sunday’s contest.
While the Cardinals will be without Marvin Harrison Jr., who is still recovering from the appendectomy, the Jaguars will also be without their No. 1 wide receiver, Brian Thomas Jr., as the 2024 first-round pick will be sidelined with an ankle injury.
Thomas put up a tremendous rookie campaign, where he hauled in 87 catches for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns.
