Since 1980, 141 of the 187 teams (75.4 percent) to start 3-0 have made the playoffs. With the NFL deciding to add an extra wild-card spot from each conference to the playoff format this year, those 3-0 odds to reach the postseason would have only ballooned for the Cardinals.
