DeAndre Hopkins is now officially a member of the Cardinals.
Though the team swung a blockbuster trade with the Texans for the star wide receiver four weeks ago, sending running back David Johnson and a second-round draft pick to Houston along with an exchange of fourth-round picks, nothing could become official until both players passed physicals.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the NFL has restricted travel of players to league cities and has mandated that any physicals be administered by neutral doctors in the city or a nearby location where a player lives.
