Kyler Murray was a limited participant in every practice this week leading up to the Cardinals’ road trip to Arlington, Texas, where the team is looking to snap its five-game losing streak against the Dallas Cowboys.
Despite being limited, the signs looked as if head coach Jonathan Gannon was expecting Murray to start on Monday, coming off a bye week. But for the third straight game, the Cardinals will be sending out Jacoby Brissett instead as their starting quarterback, as Murray is a no-go.
The big news regarding this situation is that Murray will be suiting up as the team’s backup, and Gannon may use him if the situation permits.
