Lyle Sendlein’s five-month stint as an ex-Cardinal came to an end on Friday when the veteran center re-signed with the team that cut him in March.

“That was my first ‘business’ experience,” Sendlein said after practice. “Very few players get to have long careers and never get cut. It’s all about how you get back up. I’m very fortunate to have a chance to play another year.”
