Arizona Cardinals placed defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche on the injured reserve on Monday, one day after he suffered a knee injury that will require surgery, Steve Wilks said.
Nkemdiche and the Cardinals lost 17-3 to the Lions in Glendale on Sunday. His injury occurred on the final play of the third quarter.
Meanwhile, 12 Lions' players got hurt. Four returned to the game. Six were listed as questionable. Two were listed as out.
