Cardinals place D.J. Foster on Injury Reserve

The Arizona Cardinals acquired Kenyan Drake, pending a physical, from the Miami Dolphins via trade.

To make room, they have placed D.J. Foster on season-ending injury reserve.

Foster, 25, has been sidelined the past two weeks with a hamstring injury. He has primarily played on special teams this season, being the third-string running back behind David Johnson and Chase Edmonds.

Unfortunately for the Cardinals, Johnson (ankle) and Edmonds (hamstring) will likely remain out for at least another week. They will miss the Thursday night matchup with the 49ers.
