Cardinals' Kliff Kingsbury trying to be up front, honest with players as he makes cuts

In the last week alone, the Cardinals have made a series of roster moves involving 11 players. Five of them are gone, four are new additions and two were placed on season-ending injured reserve.

But that’s nothing to the traffic of players coming and going that head coach Kliff Kingsbury is expected to see between now and Saturday, when NFL rosters must be trimmed down to the 53-man limit.

There will be some difficult discussions and some interesting handshakes over the next few days.

"I've had to have those conversations already," Kingsbury said Monday. "I think I was cut six or seven times when I was a player.
