John Brown’s statistics plunged last season as the receiver and the Cardinals tried to learn how to cope with pain and fatigue associated with sickle-cell trait.
As it turns out, that was not the only thing physically wrong with Brown.
He told the team website, azcardinals.com, that after the season a cyst was found on his spine.
Once that was treated, “I was back to normal,” Brown said.
“I most definitely feel confident,” Brown said of the upcoming season. “Since they found out the situation, my body has been feeling better. I am doing the usual, which I couldn’t do when I was going through this process.
