SEATTLE – Cardinals coach Bruce Arians apparently detests the word “stretch” in all its meanings.
There is no organized stretching before practices – players do it on their own. And Arians doesn’t want to hear anything about his team entering a difficult “stretch” of games Sunday night against the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field.
“I don’t think anybody is thinking about a stretch,” he said. “If you start thinking about stretches, playoffs and scenarios, you’re going to get your ass beat. You better be thinking about the biggest game you’ve got, and that’s this one. Win, lose or draw, we’re coming home in first place, but make sure you’re doing everything you can to win it.
