Cardinals excited about offense's potential after opener

The Cardinals offensive starters looked pretty sure of who they were and what they stood for Saturday night against the Chiefs.

In their only possession, they drove 80 yards for a touchdown and converted twice on third down, including Andre Ellington’s 2-yard touchdown run.

But according to quarterback Carson Palmer, the Cardinals offense is in search of an identity. That’s a good thing, he said, because it’s the result of a multitude of threats, not a dearth of them.

“I don’t think (opposing) teams really focus on one thing,” said Palmer, who was 4 of 4 for 77 yards, including a 57-yard completion to Ellington.
