Two former NFL quarterbacks are trumpeting Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer as a potential Most Valuable Player candidate.
Rich Gannon and Steve Beuerlein made their remarks Monday on CBS Sports’ “NFL Monday QB” show.
“I think Carson Palmer for sure is a MVP candidate,” Beuerlein said. “Tom Brady is a frontrunner right now and Aaron Rodgers is the next guy who comes to mind. Right after those two, it has to be Carson Palmer. He is a quarterback of a team that’s playing as well as any team in the NFL. I don’t think anybody wants to play the Arizona Cardinals.
