Cardinals add a center, sign Tony Bergstrom

The Arizona Cardinals signed C Tony Bergstrom as a free agent. He is expected to compete with A.Q. Shipley to be the starter.
Bergstrom only played two offensive snaps in with the Houston Texans in 2016.
In 2015, Bergstrom started four games and played 253 of his 254 snaps at center in Oakland.
Shipley’s 82.4 overall grade was the 14th-highest among centers.
Bergstrom recorded a 98.2 pass-blocking efficiency rating, the eighth-highest among centers with at least 100 snaps.
