Monday marked a new week and a new era for the Cardinals, as Byron Leftwich is now directing the playbook on the offensive side. While the 1-6 Cardinals certainly need change of some sort, the switch at offensive coordinator did not feel like a full upheaval to players at Monday's practice.
"It’s hard to say, you know, because we didn’t really get a full dive into it. It’s kind of like a half day today," left tackle D.J. Humphries said. "I don’t think it’s going to be a complete playbook change – you know, throw the whole playbook out, put a new one in type of deal – but I think it’s definitely going to be a new regime, a new style of playing for sure.
