The start of the season has not gone well for the Arizona Cardinals recently.
Since 2016, in the first four games of each year, the Cardinals are 3-12-1. Two of those three wins came in overtime. There have been a number of contributing factors. Each of the last two seasons, in which the Cardinals were 0-for-September, was under a new head coach.
Coach Kliff Kingsbury, who did record a tie in his Cardinals debut, showed that 3-12-1 stat in a team meeting. The dismal stat came with some news that could also initially seem less than ideal: The Cardinals will be spending more of their practice time outside.
