With RB Emari Demercado not practicing due to a toe injury, the Arizona Cardinals have signed Tony Jones Jr. to their active roster ahead of Week 9.
Jones has not seen any real NFL action; however, he played a dominant role in Notre Dame’s running game during his college days.
As a senior, Tony Jones Jr. averaged 6 yards per carry through 144 attempts; he also scored 7 total touchdowns.
This season, Jones spent around 10 days on the Cardinals active roster before being claimed off waivers by the Saints.
Now, he is back in Arizona with hopes of seeing his first NFL carry.
