It was pretty much a foregone conclusion that the Arizona Cardinals would be forced to address an ugly situation. A 45-10 loss to the Denver Broncos on national television this past Thursday night would surely necessitate changes. Most fans of the Cards will not be disappointed with the first course of action that the front office took.
Offensive coordinator Mike McCoy was sent on his way, just hours after Arizona’s humiliating defeat. The 46-year old’s stint as the club’s play-caller was an atrocious one. Denver had relieved McCoy of his coordinator duties in November of 2017, making this the second consecutive year that he’s failed to finish out the season.
