This offseason Steve Keim has used the first overall pick to his advantage, adding considerable talent either in the NFL draft or off of the waiver wire.
And now, he and the Cardinals strike again and take advantage of their first pick in order to add a safety in the NFL Supplemental draft.

Thompson reportedly lost his final year of NCAA eligibility after taking an over-the-counter supplement and entered the draft.
