Arizona Cardinals rookie Kyler Murray has the ultimate safety blanket in Larry Fitzgerald

Larry Fitzgerald has marveled about the many of talents and traits possessed by Cardinals rookie Kyler Murray, especially what he calls the quarterback’s emergency “exit button” – his sudden burst of mega speed to escape danger in the pocket and run for big chunks of positive yardage.

In Fitzgerald’s eyes, it’s "the ultimate weapon."

"When things break down, he can get going pretty quick," Fitzgerald said during offseason workouts. "I just think that’s going to be a dimension that we haven’t had here. I’ve never played with a quarterback that explosive."

Murray has his own version of an ultimate weapon in Fitzgerald, the 16-year NFL veteran who quickly, yet not surprisingly, has become his favorite player to throw to during training camp.
