After tight end Jermaine Gresham came and left Arizona not having signed a contract with the Arizona Cardinals, the team has apparently turned its attention to another veteran tight end. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Arizona spoke with tight end Chris Cooley and "have expressed interest in signing him."
Cooley hasn't played in the NFL since 2012 and currently hosts a radio show in Washington, DC, where he played all nine of his NFL seasons.
Cooley himself believes he can still play. In the Washington Post, he was quoted as saying, "I feel [bleeping] awesome.
