The Arizona Cardinals have eight players in COVID-19 protocol after coach Kliff Kingsbury announced five additions to the protocol on Thursday morning.
The offensive line was particularly hit hard with center Rodney Hudson, left guard Justin Pugh and right tackle Kelvin Beachum among the five.
The other two additions were wide receivers Andy Isabella and KeeSean Johnson.
Cornerback Lorenzo Burns, guard Shaq Calhoun and wide receiver Rico Gafford were previously put in protocol.
The Cardinals have not officially placed Hudson, Pugh, Beachum, Isabella and Johnson are on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
