Finally, some non-draft news to talk about pertaining to the Arizona Cardinals. It was nothing Earth-shattering but they signed one of their own on Thursday.
Kicker Zane Gonzalez, who was fantastic in 2019, signed a one-year deal reportedly worth $3.25 million. According to Arizona Sports it makes him the fifth-highest paid kicker in the NFL.
Gonzalez you remember, who came out of Arizona State, was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2017. Many Cardinals fans wanted the Cardinals to go after him had he not been drafted. Some even discussed the possibility of the Cardinals drafting him.
