Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray not worth the gamble

The general manager of the Arizona Cardinals couldn’t help himself. When asked at the NFL Scouting Combine about Josh Rosen, Steve Keim failed to give his starting quarterback a ringing endorsement. In fact, the executive’s statement that the 22-year old is the Cardinals signal-caller “for now” only fueled speculation that they’re interested in Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray.

Unfortunately for Rosen fans, it’s beginning to appear as if the Murray rumors are here to stay. At least until April 25th, that is. The first round of the 2019 NFL Draft will take place on that day, and the question about what Arizona will do with the first-overall pick will finally be answered.
