When wide receiver Christian Kirk arrived at State Farm Stadium on Tuesday morning and took a seat in front of his locker, he looked around and immediately noticed something was missing.

“It definitely feels weird without him,” Kirk said after he and the team ran through a conditioning test on the first day veterans reported to training camp. “This was the first time I’ve sat down at my locker and he hasn’t been next to me, so it’s definitely going to be a little bit of an adjustment period for me.
“He’s been around here and part of this organization for so long, not having him here on the first day is a little weird.
