Arizona Cardinals’ DT Cory Redding cut

The Arizona Cardinals cut 13-year veteran Cory Redding after one season and save about $3 million dollars in cap space for the upcoming season. Redding, who is probably most remembered for the stiff arm he game Eddie Lacy in the regular season victory over the Green Bay Packers in December, played in 12 games for the Cardinals, recording an interception and five tackles, no sacks. As ArizonaSports reports, it was his least productive season since his rookie year for the Detroit Lions.

The cut comes as players have begun reporting to offseason workouts at the Cardinals practice facility.
