Last night the news broke that Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darius Philon was arrested on Friday morning and booked into Maricopa County Jail in downtown Phoenix. It was from an incident back in May in which it is alleged that he pointed a gun at a stripper outside a strip joint.
Early Saturday afternoon, Philon was released. He was let out on a $5,000 bond and is allowed to travel out of state with the Cardinals. We will see if it actually comes to that.
For the Cardinals part, they did acknowledge they were aware of the situation and sent the information to the NFL.
