It wasn’t supposed to be a re-building year for the Arizona Cardinals and for the most part it wasn’t. It was a case of bad coaching, bad quarterback play, and lots of injury.
There is also the inconsistent effort put forth by the Cardinals week to week. One week against the Los Angeles Chargers they look lethargic for the last three quarters. The next week they put forth a great effort from start to finish in victory at Green Bay.
Then they come out with a snoozer against the Detroit Lions last Sunday at home, where the Cardinals are now 1-6.
