Arizona Cardinals bring back Jermaine Gresham

The Cardinals and tight end Jermaine Gresham have reached agreement on a four-year deal, an NFL source confirmed.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the news. Financial terms were not immediately available.

Keeping Gresham was a priority for the Cardinals this offseason. Coach Bruce Arians often said Gresham brought toughness and blocking ability to the offense.

Gresham’s return solidifies a position that’s in a state of flux.

The Cardinals are not expected to tender tight end Darren Fells, which will make him an unrestricted free agent. The lowest tender is $1.8 million, and the Cardinals have decided Fells is not worth that much money.
