When you’re living life on the “bubble,” you stand a better chance to burst than others. Such is the case this weekend for several hundred players around the NFL, including many on the Cardinals, as they wait for Saturday’s dreaded cut-down day, when all teams must trim their rosters from 90 players down to 53.
Some players, like Cardinals rookie safety/linebacker Zeke Turner, said he expected to sleep like a baby because he knows he did all he could to earn one of the team’s last roster spots. Others, like Cardinals veteran wide receiver Greg Little, who is trying to get back into the league after a four-year hiatus, expected to be up all night waiting for news.
