The Cardinals came out of the NFL draft with six new players and they’ve added more than three times that many more rookies on Monday, announcing they have agreed to terms with 21 undrafted free agent rookies.

Coupled with the players they already had under contract, that technically gave the Cardinals 93 total players on the roster – three over the league-mandated, 90-man limit.

It wasn’t immediately clear what the team planned to do about that dilemma, but it likely means that at least three players will have to be released or transferred to a designated injury list of some kind.
