This past Friday, the Arizona Cardinals signed a player that they didn’t appear to need. The fact that there were already five inside linebackers on the club’s roster did not prevent management from adding another one to the mix. Zach Brown has joined the Cards, but the role he will take on with his new team is not yet clear.
Brown is now part of an inside linebacking group that also features Jordan Hicks, Haason Reddick, Joe Walker, Dennis Gardeck and Zeke Turner. Arizona has yet to announce if any of those five were injured during Thursday Night’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
