After Bruce Arians drew him back to football, Cardinals' Byron Leftwich ready for next step

Golf is a cornerstone of relationships in the Cardinals' locker room. Players compete against each other, both in Arizona and around the world. A few guys host tournaments to fundraise for their charities. Often, players stop to check PGA scores on TVs hanging around the training facility.

But golf also nearly prevented one important member of that locker room from coming to Arizona in the first place.
